Heerbrugg, Switzerland – 20 January 2014 – ESCATEC, one of Europe’s leading providers of contract and manufacturing services, will be on stand 5/345 at the Embedded World Show in Nuremberg, Germany on 25-27 February 2014. The company will be showing a range of products that it has designed and made for customers from around the world. These range from luxury watches with interactive touchscreens to life-saving medical products and from high performance network analysers to disposable temperature sensors for medicines in transit. An integral part of the design of each of these is the embedded computing and software, which provides the control and Human Machine Interface, and forms part of ESCATEC’s world-class quality control standards.
The ESCATEC Group provides fully-integrated electronic and mechatronic design and manufacturing solutions to assist customers in achieving success in their market. Its one-stop solutions and best-in-class service enable companies around the world to operate more profitably, sustainably and efficiently. Founded in 1974, its history is full of innovation, which made it a first choice partner for many European and North American OEMs. The Swiss-owned company perfectly blends Swiss business philosophy and attention to quality, precision and detail with the advantage of low-cost, mass-volume manufacturing capabilities in its Asian factories.
ESCATEC’s partners on the booth are UID GmbH and Smart HMI GmbH. Together they will be launching an innovative SMART HMI Stick at the show that enables companies to provide a new way to control and interface with machines via an existing USB port. The stick creates a WiFi link to a smartphone or tablet that runs an app to provide a simple-to-use Human Machine Interface to control the functions of the machine. The full press release and media briefings will be available at Embedded World.
